People often make the mistake of thinking that cardio training is all they need to shed body fat. Surely, cardio has its part to play but food management or nutrition intake in prescribed quantities is also a must. Some tips towards a leaner body can be enumerated as follows:-

Pick at least two cooked or raw fruits and vegetables before every meal and their fiber content will fill you up.

Eat breakfast. Healthy people eat breakfast, skipping them is related to health issues such as obesity.

Choose fruit instead of juice. For example: a cup of orange juice has about 110 calories whereas an orange has only 60.

Avoid eating non vegetarian food after noon. Since, our body takes time to digest non vegetarian food, it is advisable to consume around evening so that it digests while we work during the day.

Try eating food, which is baked rather than fried. Baked food contains around 35% less calories than fried food.
