A toe nail infection can be one of the most disturbing experiences one can get. First it’s the itch followed by excruciating pains that can make you very uncomfortable. This is usually as a result of a fungal infection on the toe nail. You will notice your nails getting a yellowish color and cracking. These infections do not go away without treatment and it is advised that one takes care of the problem the minute they see it.

There are medicines out there for this problem but finding them can be a bit tricky. Alcohol is one of the remedies used by many since it is a great antiseptic. Use something to wipe on the infected toe with alcohol and remember to keep it clean. Hydrogen peroxide is also one of widely used remedies. Just use it to wash your feet in a 3% percent solution. This remedy is very effective since hydrogen peroxide is also used to whiten nails.
